The App has been designed to operate without collecting personal information.
Specifically:

The App does not collect, transmit, or process personal data on behalf of Sylvac SA.
2. Offline Operation
The App functions entirely offline.
No internet connection is required for normal operation, including:
- Connecting to measuring instruments
- Recording measurements
- Managing configurations
- Viewing stored data
- Exporting measurement files
Because the App does not rely on cloud services or remote infrastructure, your measurement data remains under your direct control on your device.
3. Bluetooth Communication
The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology solely for communication with nearby Sylvac measuring instruments.
Bluetooth functionality is used exclusively to:
- Detect compatible devices
- Establish local connections
- Transfer measurement values
- Synchronize device-related settings
All Bluetooth communication occurs locally between your device and the measuring instrument.
No Bluetooth data, device identifiers, or measurement information is transmitted to external servers, cloud platforms, or third parties.
4. Local Storage of Data
All data generated or managed by the App is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
- Measurement values
- Measurement history
- Device settings
- User configurations
- Export preferences
Sylvac SA does not have access to this data and does not receive copies of any locally stored information.
You remain solely responsible for the management, backup, and deletion of your locally stored data.
5. Data Export and Sharing
The App allows users to export measurement data in CSV format for documentation, reporting, or quality-control purposes.
Export and sharing actions are initiated exclusively by the user.
Exported files may be shared through the native functionalities provided by your operating system or device, including:
- Email applications
- AirDrop
- File storage services
- Messaging applications
- Other sharing tools installed on your device
Sylvac SA does not participate in this transfer process and does not receive, access, store, or monitor exported files.
Users are responsible for ensuring the secure handling of exported data once shared outside the App.
6. Third-Party Services and Tracking
The App does not contain:
- Advertising services
- Analytics platforms
- Tracking technologies
- Marketing tools
- Social media integrations
- Third-party advertising SDKs
The App does not profile users, analyze behavior, or track activity across applications or websites.

Although the App does not collect personal data, we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to ensure that the App operates securely and reliably.
Because all data remains stored locally on your device, the security of your information also depends on the protection measures implemented on your device, including:
