Connections and softwares

The OPTO cable enables a direct connection with most of the measuring instruments to a personal computer, a dedicated printer or to a display unit.
The function mode of the OPTO connector is done by an optic coupling between the instrument and the peripheral unit. The advantage is an individual connection of the peripheral unit. The OPTO connector is an interface which adjusts the pulse level of the data signals to be compatible with different interface as USB, RS232 and Digimatic.

The RS 232 cable enables a power supply and a direct connection with most of the Sylvac measuring instruments to a personal computer, a dedicated printer or to a Sylvac display unit,

It is not only a cable, but an interface which converts the data output of the instrument to a compatible RS 232 signal. The periphery instrument connection must be able to supply power to the RS 232 plug.
